It’s hard to believe in the 13 years since this Chris Rock classic was made, edgy topics and sensitive material have all but been banned from comedy. That’s where we used to go to laugh about our differences and come together as people. It’s hard to believe what was commonsense in dealing with police in 2007, if mentioned today, could cancel a person’s career.
Of course, you noticed the different races of the various passengers. But did you also notice the two contrasting styles of behavior? Compliance and politeness worked better then, and they still do today. If BLM truly cared about saving lives, they’d stop saying compliance and behavior make no difference in outcomes with police. It’s as if they know that putting the power of police interaction results in the hands of regular people would take power out of their own hands. And we all know a fundamental goal of the left is to gain control and political power at all costs, even if those costs are lives.
Do people of all races have better outcomes with police if they comply? Is there any evidence to suggest otherwise?
