Biden Lashes Out at CBS Reporter for Asking about Hunter Scandal

When finally asked by a mainstream reporter about the recent Hunter-Ukraine-laptop scandal, Joe Biden lashed out at CBS’ Bo Erickson:

“I know [sic] you’d ask it. I have no response, it’s another smear campaign, right up your alley, those are the questions you always ask,” replied Biden as he left Michigan Friday night.

Two of Erickson’s colleagues came to his defense on Twitter. Ed O’Keefe tweeted:

“It’s our job as journalists to ask questions of people in power or who want to be in power — whether they like the questions or not. Bo did his job tonight. And Bo did his job well.”

Paula Reid jumped in to defend Erickson, tweeting:

“Biden adopts Trump playbook – attacking pool reporter @BoKnowsNews for asking about Hunter Biden story which has been a focus of President Trump’s campaign over the past few days. Fine to attack the story, but why personally insult Bo?”

President Trump has had his fights with reporters, but he answers their questions–sometimes repeatedly, like with his endless denouncing of white supremacy. But Biden clearly feels he’s above answering basic questions about scandals, corruption, and court-packing. Maybe we’ll get these questions answered after the election.
